For my proposal for the entrance space at Ikea Sheffield I decided to take Ikea classics and reinvent them. I wanted to show how these pieces, that have been around for decades, are still relevant today by pairing them with new products. This also works to reflect where Ikea has come from and where it is going. To further emphasise the speculative nature of Ikea’s design process I wanted to take damaged products and give them a new purpose within the proposal.
